PRINT QUALITY & SPEED
With a print resolution of 300 dpi and speeds of up to 280 colour cards per hour (single-sided) or 170 cards per hour (double-sided), the Primacy 2 is one of the fastest desktop ID card printers on the market. Color profile optimization ensures vivid, accurate colours and a professional finish on every card.
SINGLE-SIDED & DOUBLE-SIDED PRINTING
Available in Simplex (single-sided) and Duplex (double-sided) configurations, the Primacy 2 adapts to your card program requirements.The 100-card feeder and 100-card output hopper keep workflows running without constant attention, while an optional 200-card feeder is available for even higher-volume environments.

ENCODING & SECURITY
The Primacy 2 supports a full range of encoding options — magnetic stripe (ISO 7811), contact smartcard, contactless smartcard, and dual smartcard encoders — making it suitable for access control, healthcare ID, financial cards, and secure facility credentials. Options can be factory-installed or added on-site.
For card security, the Primacy 2 supports UV effect printing, double overlay lamination (YMCKOO ribbon), Kineclipse® data scrambling, and digital erasing to protect sensitive cardholder data after every print job. An optional mechanical locking system and Kensington lock slot provide additional physical security.
SOFTWARE & COMPATIBILITY
Every Primacy 2 ships with Evolis Premium Suite — a full printer management platform compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux — plus cardPresso XXS badge design software so your team can start designing and printing professional cards right out of the box. The Evolis SDK is also available for seamless integration with existing systems.
