HIGH-VOLUME CARD HANDLING

ENCODING & SECURITY
A detachable, reversible encoding module — independent from the print module — encodes and prints cards in a single pass, helping maximize throughput. The Quantum 2 supports magnetic stripe (ISO 7811 HiCo/LoCo, JIS II), contact smart card, and contactless smart card encoding, making it suitable for access control, financial cards, transit passes, and secure ID programs. An optional locking system restricts access to blank cards, ribbons, films, and rejected cards for added security.
