Designed for schools, hospitals, corporate offices, government departments, and membership organizations, the Sigma DS1 prints full-colour single-sided cards at up to 175 cards per hour and sits comfortably on a desk or reception counter at just 11.3 lb.
Setup is deliberately simple. Snap-in ribbon cassettes, guided on-screen installation, and a mobile printer dashboard for status, supply reordering, and firmware updates mean staff can be printing badges the same day the printer arrives.

Two Models — Choose Your Card Feed
The Sigma DS1 is available in two configurations. Both print identically; the difference is how cards are loaded.
- 525300-006 — Manual feed, 1-card. Best for low-volume issuance and one-off replacement cards, where a locked-down single-card entry point is preferred.
- 525300-001 — Automatic 125-card input hopper. Best for onboarding days, student registration, and any batch run where cards should print unattended.
Optional Encoding
Order the Sigma DS1 with encoding built in and print and program a credential in a single pass:
- Magnetic stripe — ISO 7811 three-track, high- and low-coercivity
- Contactless smart card — ISO 14443 A/B, ISO 15693, and MIFARE variants
