The Entrust Sigma DS2 is built for organizations that issue cards regularly and need them to do more than look good. It prints single-sided or dual-sided cards at up to 225 cards per hour, connects over USB or Ethernet out of the box, and can be ordered with an inline lamination module when badges need to survive years of daily use.
Because the DS2 puts artwork on both sides of the card, you can keep photo, name, and logo on the front while moving policy text, emergency contacts, or a barcode to the back — no second pass, no reprinting.

- 525301-005 — Duplex, 125-card input hopper: dual-sided issuance, and the configuration that supports the inline lamination module.
Lamination Options
The Sigma Card Lamination Module attaches inline and applies a durable overlay that extends card life and adds a visual security layer:
- 531048-001 — SLM single-side laminator: protects the printed front of the card.
- 531048-002 — SLM simultaneous dual-side laminator: laminates both sides in one pass for high-security and long-life credentials.
Lamination is worth specifying when cards carry holographic security features, are tapped or swiped daily, or need to last several years without reissue.

The Sigma DS2 uses genuine Entrust prefilled ribbon cassettes, including YMCKT, YMCKT-KT, KTT, ST-KT, and GT-KT options, plus monochrome ribbons rated for roughly 2,500 images. Genuine Entrust supplies protect print quality and keep your warranty intact.
