Honeywell PM45 Industrial Label Printer
The Honeywell PM45 is a 4-inch industrial barcode label printer with an all-metal print mechanism, built for manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical labelling. It prints at up to 14 inches per second, comes in 203, 300, 406 and 600 dpi, and holds media rolls up to 8.38 inches in Outer diameter for long runs between changeovers.
The PM45 is available in thermal transfer and direct thermal models, with an icon or full-colour touch display, optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, a peel-and-present rewinder with label-taken sensor, and an optional UHF RFID encoder. It runs Honeywell and Zebra printer languages (including ZPL-II emulation), so it can replace an existing Zebra or Intermec printer without re-writing label formats.

Thermal transfer or direct thermal? Thermal transfer models use a ribbon and produce durable, long-lasting labels; they can also print on direct thermal media with no ribbon loaded. Direct thermal models print without ribbon but can only use direct thermal labels, which fade with heat and light over time. If you are unsure, choose thermal transfer.
Tear or peel? Tear models are for batch printing. Peel with Liner Takeup peels each label from its backing and waits until it is taken (label-taken sensor) — ideal for print-and-apply at a workstation.
